“JBCS has maintained the computers for GRISTY’S CLEANERS as long as I can remember and well before I bought the company. This last year Jeff described a new network monitoring plan that he was offering on a monthly fee. The economy has forced me to look at my expenditures very closely. Jeff assured me that there was no risk to try it out. There have been other times when his guys have been able to help me and my secretary solve problems through remote access, but this last Saturday, I was at home relaxing away from work, Jeff called me. He told me that the internet connection at my downtown main office was down. Jeff suggested a few things to check and offered to come out if I needed help. I reset the power to the modem and the router, but the internet still did not work. Monday morning, I put a call in to my DSL provider and Jeff arrived before I could call him. He checked things out and chased the DSL telephone line back and discovered that it was unplugged. I guess that my secretary had unplugged it on Saturday trying to print postage from our meter.
